I was going to re-use my existing points distributor, but the plastic bushing is split at the split pin. I was in the future going to upgrade to electronic, but no time like the present! I'm looking at the Mopar performace kit? Engine is a 440. Any thoughts on that? I'd also like to use a MSD 6AL box (black  Mopar one) someday.

Never seen or heard of it. I'd rather spend $150 on an MP know quantity than $70 on a  maybe from a no name place. Ignition's too critical to mess around with IMO.

Brads70,
Take a look at the link below from CC.  I believe the distributor looks just liek the one from 440source.  I did the same thing as you last year and now wish i had the ability to adjust the springs and vacumum.  The distributor works fine though.  If I think of the manufactor I'll let you know.  I believe they are out of Australia.  FYI, I broke the cap installing it and had to call a specialty place out of CAL to get a new one.
