Getting closer ... took a couple  pictures. Mottor/tranny is all bolted in, driveshaft in, headers on, just some plumbing and wiring to do before I fire it up.  I loved the carb intake shot! Still waiting on a few parts....

I found the header was leaking ( didn't make any noise though?) I had to weld up the header flange and grind/file it smooth again. It had missed the gasket slightly?

Is your carb all ready to go for your set up?  Or is that something that is going to be dialed in?  A couple people have said they sent their carbs to the carb shop and they were dialed in perfectly.
That seems like a pretty bad leak, but hopefully that repair does the trick!  R&R headers from these cars is a PINTA!

I have no idea about the carb? I guess I'll know when I get it running?
Yes the headers are a real pain in the butt! I can see having a go at making my own at some pont!  :pullinghair: Ports do not line up very well at all! Hits the power steering box, starter, steering shaft coupler, and torsion bar. But other than that they fit perfectly!

Thanks   I figure 540 or so, my engine builder figures more, closer to 600 but I doubt that.

Got it fired up tonight for the first time! :woohoo:   Then this dude walks up?  From Panama he said? :dunno:
Great timing as I was  freaking out about the sounds the gear drive was making. Neil said it sounded good to him!
Enjoyed seeing Neil again!

Have you had it out for a cruise, still tuning, or fried the tires off of it?
