Ahhh . I know what your doing. I have my braces tacked in now. I noticed they have some fitting issues as they have a larger than expected gap .   The weather is crazy here today SC today..its 80 deg this afternoon while the rest of the country is freezing. looks great  :thumbsup:
Ya took me about 3 hours of grinding/fitting to get the big main piece fitting well. It's the one on the shock tower that I found fits horrible. The one with the big hole. Took a lot of welding/filling in!  :pullinghair:

Looks awesome. I'm glad you got er done! I'm sure with any 500-plus motor, there's a lot of body twist. I hear those work quite well to help eliminate that.  :2thumbs:

Cars always look like an unrecognizable brick when you remove the front cap.
Sure you will notice handling improvement.

Well I'm at it yet again.... not satisfied with the handling I went and ordered new 18X11" rims on all four corners. 315/30/18 up front and 295/40/18 out back.( Falken Azenis RT615K) Also added a Sam Posey/Trans-Am inspired spoiler.
I'll be cutting out/modifying the fenders to fit the tires soon. I ordered new AMD fenders and will save my originals. Everything I've done to the car at this point is simple bolt on stuff with the exception of the US car tool cowl braces and subframe connectors. So the purists can relax.  :lol: ( It is just a /6 car too, nothing rare) Also using QA1 double adjustable shocks on all four corners.  Yes I know car will be a handful in the rain. But I never drive it in the rain anyhow unless I get caught.

Spoiler is just over 7" off the ground at the lowest point so I should be good with ground clearance. It sticks out about as far as the bumper.

yes,  :working:  Can't decide which way to go flairs ,or rework the entire side of the fender. sort of a wide body look? Leaning towards the widebody look even though its more work. It needs about 2 - 2 1/2"
This is why I bought new fenders to play with. I can always go back to stock by installing my original rust free fenders.
