looking good Brad.  I know you love the Challenger, and I`m pretty sure it won`t be up for sale until you`re stretched 6ft under.... I`d say cut up the rear and balance it with the front.  I bet it would look awesome  and bad a$$ at the same time  :2cents:

Looks great, Brad!

I actually liked it with all the tack welds.  It gave it that old "bomber" look some old hot rods have, like on this motorcycle.

Did I mention I hate body work!  :eek4:  I have one fender ready for primer ( I think) I have to get moving if it's going to be ready for Carlisle! :pullinghair:

Looks great, but I'm holding the final ruling until the paint job is finished. You never know what horrors may be lurking that won't be visible until that shinny new finish sees sunlight the first time.    :roflsmiley:

Well... I can say I've had more than enough sanding! :eek4: Hats off to you guys that do that for a living!  :grinyes: Not my idea of a good time! Welding fabricating I'm in, but sanding.... YUCK!  I "think" I did pretty good. I bought an paint gun with the intentions of painting it myself but with the humidity my air compressor is like a fire hose ( water...lots of water) so I caved and with the help of buddy's at the paint store and another that owns a body shop ( but was swamped= too busy) got the name of a local guy that has a booth in his back yard.  Actually runs a small business there . Cool! Best part was he is a mopar nut too. Turns out he has a 71 Cuda red with billboards 340 car that he is gathering parts for a hemi build for it. and currently has a 71 Challenger in his shop getting restored/painted! How cool is that! :2thumbs:  I told him he needs to sign up here! Mike Kidd is his name , seems like a great guy! He goes to Carlisle every year too. . Alan he knows you. Nice to "keep it in the family" sort of a thing too!
The other factor in doing myself is time..... we are going camping for a week in Algonquin /annual family reunion. So when I get back they should be ready to install just in time to drive to Carlisle! :clapping:

Picked them up today after work. Turned out ok... paint is a little off but will have to do as I can't afford to paint the whole car. Lots of work to do in the next few days if I'm going to make Carlisle!  :eek4:

I wish I could be there to see this in person. Very cool.

Looking good Brad

Got a pic where it meets the door? I've got some paintwork going now as well and keeping my fingers crossed on match.
