Found a rust hole today!!! Under the battery tray. I took it of to mount the MSD box and relays under it and discovered this.

Then a few hours later all fixed!

Finished up my rad too, welded fittings and tabs to mout the fan and a temp sensor for the fan. Made brakets to mount it too.

Brad, do you have any pics with these in place?

Sorry Brooks the car is on axel stands and it's hard to get a good picture as I can't get far enough away, so this was the best I could do?

Thanks guys! Nope no reduction in ground clearance. Gotta give credit to Neil ( CP ) for the subframe conectors, material was about ...?$20? LOL the holes with tubbing welded in were my idea. With my new business finding time to work on it is challenging and it's killing me not being able to drive it yet as I'm so close!

wow Brad,
I havent looked in here in a while, and cant believe how much you've done.
I thought your car was pretty driveable when you got it, but I guess you had other ideas!

Looks like you're rebuilding the whole car. Was it in bad condition? As I remember you found it and had it shipped from out west somewhere, and the shipped messed it up, but for some reason I thought you were generally happy with the condition of the car.

well the body is very solid and I was/am very happy with that. I had to fix up alot of bandaid solutions and ....well when you fix one part, well the part beside it looks like crap so you fix/replace that part.....and so on and so on!     I had to stop myself and concentrate on just getting it on the road and not worrying about how pretty things are. It needs a paint job bad. Looks good from a distance but up close it sucks.

YAHOO!!!!!  Got the Challenger fired up today for the first time in a year and a half! , Nothing like a 440 at 4000 RPM'S!!!! As pumped as I am pissed off about a bad header leak middle 2 cylinders drivers side. The flange is hitting the head casting I think.   I had it running for about 10 minutes gave it a few good shots on the throttle and shut it down, it backfired out the carb a few times but I just put in the distributor( guessed at position) so I need to set the timing etc...
LOL I walked into the house acting as calm as I could and said to the wife, hey I just got the Challenger running, did you hear it?  :roflsmiley:   OH YES and so did the neighbourhood!!!!!! was her reply!
