Calipers, It's whats for dinner   :smilielol: :lol2:  Kitchen tip:  When rebuilding a carb, run all the parts in the dish washer, does an amazing job. Of course it's best to do this if your single.  :stirpot:

There was a time I was doing a fair amount of coating on parts. In order to stay in the wife's good graces, I picked up a  cheap electric oven off craigslist and set it up in the garage.

Good thing too. Dry film coatings really stink up the oven.

Ya a couple people mentioned that but , one I don't have the room :grinno: and so far I haven't had mush use to justify getting one. The smell wasn't to bad. I opened the windows and doors for an hour or so. Then cooked dinner so it masked the smell.

I could see that not working out so well at my house. :grinno: I think it would be safer to use HP's suggestion. :grinyes:
We are looking at getting a wall oven, I was gonna toss the old one, but maybe I'll set it up in the garage.

How were your dealings with Team3? I called them yesterday and am kind of turned off by the owner. All I wanted to know was what type of finishes and offset options I had, if any. He went into how much he does not like black wheels and how it takes away from all aspects of the wheel design and so on and, very opinionated. That's all good, everyone has their own taste.

But then he told me an offset story that really irked me. He explained how a customer saw a car in a magazine with his wheels and wanted the same ones. He asked for the same exact spec wheel, at first he refused to build him the wheels because of potential fitment issues if the car wasn't exactly the same. Kudos to that. Then he told me that the customer still inquired so he built him the same exact wheels to spec. Cost was 14k, he sent the customer the wheel spec sheet with the information whited out so he didn't know how they were built and laughed about how he doubts they fit the car.

I get the logic behind every car is built differently and what may fit on one does not fit on others, but he seemed far to happy that he gave this guy a set of wheels for 14k that did not fit...

I didn't talk to anyone, just a few emails, I just measured carefully , filled out there sheet and ordered them. No drama, came exactly as I ordered them.  Mine are all 18X11, 5.5 offset in the rear and 5" offset up front.
