Finally got them installed. The oil pressure gauge didn't work so I had to send it back to Speedhut ($40 shipping next day delivery.) I was in a hurry as the dash was disassembled. They send it back next day as well so all in all pretty good service. I figure "stuff" happens and it's how they stand behind it that matters!
My son keeps egging me on to test out the 0-60 and 1/4 mile time features on the LCD screen!
I still have the autometer gauges hooked up ( hanging below the ash tray) and the temp gauge reads 5 degrees hotter than the speedhut gauge?

I've been fighting a heating issue when stopped in traffic. I'm done pissing around so I bought a C&R rad built for a Craftsman truck ( but never used)  It's big but weights less than a stock hemi rad.  I had to weld on inlets and outlets and mounting brackets but made it work! I then bought another pusher fan , same size specs as the puller fan  from here.

Nice people I met them at Carlisle. These fans move air! Better than the mechanical fan(s) I tried ... multiple designs too.

Stays between 185-195 now had it idling in the garage for 1/2 hour , works good!

Gauges look awesome, looking at that rad I am not sure you could do anything else if it did not work lol

Brad, looks good, what do you have controlling them? I think I read the pull fan is a two speed, do you just have the pull working low speed during normal temp control, then stepping up to high speed, then the push fan?
Im building a small block stroker that has a small amount of hard block in it thus leaving approx 3" of water jacket from the top of the deck down for coolant and thus as a streeter may need to look at a better cooling system.

I'm using this to control them both. I have 2 70 amp relays. Pretty nice product. You can set the temps to come on and off at on 2 fans or one 2 speed fan.

Both fans are 2 speed but I have them both  wired to come on at top speed. Otherwise I would have had to buy 2 controllers when I wasn't sure it would work.

Thanks Brad, whats the actuall rated current draw on each of those fans please mate, those alternators are pumpin it, I remember you said they were spendy when you got it but well worth it. I have a 65A unit on my car, Im hoping it will run a fuel pump and a fan, I dont have any stereo or amps to power. I'll do the math and see where I end up.

Each hi/low is fused with a 30amp fuse?  I'd guess 50amps when both the high and low are running?

I bought this power steering pump last year and decided now would be a good time to make up the brackets for it. I also made a new thermostat housing. I found the 440 source water pump housing I've had on since day one was the cause of my overheating woes. I replaced it with an original cast iron housing.  On the 440 source housing I literally couldn't get my pinky finger  in the water passage. In the stock one I can wiggle my thunb in the same passage. The 440 source was a major restriction.
