I concur....looking goooood. :cooldancing:
Is the front tag bracket covering the dent from the shipper, or did you get that repaired?

My :2cents: I think it would look better a little bit lower.

Ya the front licence bracket hides the damage from the shippers nicely! It needs a paint job bad but I'll drive it the way it is for now.
I agree it needs to be lower but a few members told me to drive it awhile as the new Torsion bars will settle. It has new rear springs too.

I bought it off E-Bay from a seller in Texas. I can't remember the name? I would look around, there is someone who molds them in Black. I can't remember who but someone on here has the one molded in black. Being molded in white mine will show ever stone chip scratch etc.

I bought a set of US cartool subframe connectors but decided to make my own. I didn't like the fit. Material costs was $25! and I have enough material to do 2 cars! I drilled 3/4" holes every 6 " and welded in a 3/4" OD tube. It did make a difference in strength! I put a large adjustable wrench on the end while clamped in a vice and tried to twist. I could move it a little before the 3'4" tube was welded in ( just a little) and none when it was welded in! :2thumbs: Material is 1x2 .100" wall square tube. I plan on strengthening up the front subframe too. To much twist stock! This will never be a museum piece so I don't feel too bad building it how I want.

Brad, do you have any pics with these in place?

Today I tore apart and assembled my $200 carb that I bought from a guy that had it for 2 weeks, said he couldn't get it to run right? He said he paid over $600 for it ( 850 Demon) plus the choke kit? Turns out when the fuel inlet is partially plugged with blue shop towel it doesn't run right? :screwy:
I had to use the carbide burr to relive the area under the vacume secondard pot and clear for the fuel line. Hopefully it will work better than the Holley 750 I had ready for it?

that sure is a nice deal... are you sure that was the problem?   I never had any problem with the blue towels...  :dunno:

Well not 100% sure as it isen't running yet , but the primary inlet was about 75% plugged with what looked to be those blue shop towels. I ripped it all apart, cleanned out every hole and reassembled. So hopefully that was the problem? I didn't see anything else. I would have rather had a proform carb but for $200 I'd take a gamble?

Got to work on the car today! :woohoo: I bought a T/A stle air cleaner for a single 4 barrel from  Hybrid fiberglass solutions. Fitting the base to my hood took a long time, but I think I have it fitting OK now. Finished up the brakes today too just gotta add fluid and bleed them.Everything is new with the brakes so hopefully that will leave me with no headaches!
I used Raybestos rear wheel cylinders as suggested to help with rear wheel lock up. I wanted to replace all the brake parts so now was a good time to upgrade.Plumbed in a wilwood adjustable p-valve too. Finally got the headers clearanced by shimming uo the drives side 3/16 and 1/8 on passenger side.Still had to hammer/dimple them to clear the steering box and t-bar on drivers side?

Mounted some gauges today. I had to machine up a bracket to clear the vent knobs. I made it with both bolt patterns for either a 2 or 3 gauge cluster.
