Looks great Brad  :2thumbs:  Figures, you get her running and I won't be at Carlisle this year, better post some more sweet pics for me while your there.

Thanks Wade and Jim!
Really? your not coming? wow that stinks! Sounds like quite a few are sitting this year out? I'm not bringing the Challeneger as I would have to trailer it and that's going to cost almost $500 to rent one. I have to pick up my family on the way home from Carlilse( 5 of us in total) and we won't all fit in the Challenger. I rather have the option of spending that $ on parts instead.  I HAVE to go this year with the trans-am reunion thing!  That's one of the things that made me want an e-body.  :2thumbs:

Looks great Brad!!!!

Hope to se it at Moparfest!

Have you checked Hagerty for insurance...suposed to be the least restrictive of the collector car companies in Canada!

Thanks Jason!
No I haven't checked them yet? I heard they don't "do Canada"?
Looking at silver wheels, Echelon, and Whetter, Oakland Ins.  Lots to figure out? restrictions, drive it to the USA, milage restrictions, etc....? :pullinghair:

Hagerty entered the Canadian market earlier this year.  Try them at Phone 800-922-4050

Tested out the sure grip yesterday in the driveway that I bought from member Travis72. ( Thanks! again ) Had to get the "nubbies" off the new tires ya know?  Brakes work too!  I had confidence in the new brakes as this picture is heading into my garage. The boys loved it , the wife....well not so much? I seem to love the smell of burning rubber?
Also adjusted the side windows, what a job that was spent like 5 hours doing that and replacing the window seals.

:woo:    got a saftey inspection , and plates today and took my first ride in the Challenger! Just around the block and back to see if there are any leaks etc... The Amp gauge is still over towards the high side, almost pegged even with a new voltage regulator, but the battery voltage running is 13.8 volts so I'm thinking the gauge is out to lunch.
Still can't get the grin off my face! Boy do I love looking over that T/A hood! And the exhaust sounds amazing!!!  :grinyes: :woohoo:   Standard (Non power )brakes take some getting used to? :grinyes:

Brad,

Congrats on getting her on the road! I'm going nuts waiting for mine to get back from the shop! Who are you going to go through for the insurance? I heard there is a good company based on the East Coast but I don't know the name. They are supposed to send an appraiser out and their insurance covers the true value of the car. Take care!

It's a hot summer night tonight 30 Celsius (86 deg.) and decided to take her out for a rip! Went around town for awhile then took it out on HWY 400 ( like an Interstate) LOVE the throttle response! :woo:  Cruising around 3000 RPM's ( 3:55 gear)and the temp gauge stayed right at 195!  :2thumbs: Getting her all ready for Moparfest! Got home and looked at all the bugs on the window and smiled! It ain't no trailer queen! :cooldancing:
Just need the front end aligned and it's good to go! Gaining more confidence it her daily!....besides almost everything is new, not many old parts left to fail!

Well I guess I'm finished.....for now? ( They are never done are they? )
I'm collecting engine parts now for a stroker build. The car really needs a paint job, but it will do for now!
