Today was the first day in at least a week I've had time to work on it. I got about an hour and a half before it started raining again!  :pullinghair: VERY busy work wise at the moment, that comes first!  :money:  :grinyes:

I have one panel pretty much finished with the English wheel, Just a little more to smooth it out a little better.
This top panel is the hardest, they others are easy.

Reminds me of a Javelin fender...
Just needs a little arch on top.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

I'll take rain over 105 degree heat in the garage any day.

Thank god it will cool down soon so I can get back at it.

Those fenders are coming along, can't wait to see pics of the welding there Brad!

Great start!  Tires are only .8" wider in the front, but what's the difference in track width front to back?  (just curious)

Track width ( measured at the center of the tires) Front is 67" rear is 63" I have a 1/2" spacer on both wheels in the front That I most likely will take out. I put them in there to build the fenders to, so I could have some wiggle room.
From a google search stock is...  track width of 59.7 inches (F) / 60.7 inches (R) , which is not optimal IMO on circle track cars we make the rear 1" narrower than the front.

Here is a few pictures of todays progress!

that is some really nice work there! I love how the drivers side is shaping out, looks like it blends into the original shape well. looking forward to more build porn, but I'd love to see some vids on the track when completed.

With those Bulges in the fenders, it reminds me of "Muffin Top" somewhat.

What does it do to the Aerodynamics and the Wind Tunnel test?

Now the Song down below!

:roflsmiley:  I just tell people the engine back fired and swelled out the fenders!  That or I came home one night and my car had mounted a Javelin and this is what came around 9 months later.  :icon16:

Not much visual progress but I have one side all finish welded and really for filler. Takes forever tack weld then cool it off with air and repeat....10,000 times! :pullinghair: Then grind down all the welds.  :eek4: I hate that part!  :grinyes: It was fun cutting out the insides of the original fender. Nothing moved!  :2thumbs: Got the turn signal grafted in today too!
