T-minus 13 hours and counting. The Pens have won 3 out of the last 4 games. I would feel better if at least 1 of those wins had been in Detroit. It's been a pretty darned good series so far.

 If the Pens win, then everyone in Pittsburg will say they're the sports team capital of the world.

And.........................why not speak the truth 

  Like I said before, to me hocky is    But Steel town pride (STEELERS) makes me hope for the Pens.  I haven't watched any of the series but the games the Redwings won were by a wider margin, so with the home game tonight the Wings obviously have the edge. And either way, when that game is over all hell is going to break out, glad I'm a couple hundred mile south east.

  Well since the minnesota wild hasn't made it to the cup finals i'll have to go with my dad and brothers team the detroit redwings.they are from MI AND ARE DIE HARD FANS.

I read earlier this week that both the mayor of Pittsburgh and Detroit hope the other team wins.

The reason being is the clean up costs the city has to dole out after the parade celebration. Pittsburgh supposedly spent 6.5 million on the Superbowl parade clean up and whatever else was involved.

Budgets are tight now so that's the reason why the mayors don't want their city to win.

gOOD FOR THE PENS...A GOOD YOUNG TEAM WON IT. THe Wings are a class act and have a great organization, but it was good for hockey and all the young fans to have Crosby, Malkin, Stahl and Fluery win the cup.
