Correct Exhaust Tip Position
« on: June 12, 2009 - 11:59:20 AM »
Can anyone tell me the correct factory position for the exhaust tips with respect to the cutouts in the rear valence?   i.e. How far they are supposed to stick out, if any, etc.

I tried to centre mine in the hole, but pipe being what it is even that's tuff. With the compound geometry going on back there with the valence and all, I'd think documenting a position is tough. Mine stick out of the valence about an inch on the top and are central to the cut out. i'd adjust yours to what appears good in your eyes.

    :iagree:

Just about 1" is right. You don't want the exhaust getting under the car.
