JC Whitney 1/4's
« on: June 12, 2009 - 08:24:05 PM »
JC Whitney has their 1/4's on sale for $89.00 plus free shipping and a 10% discount. :money:

Seems like a very good price does it not?  Are their panels any good?

NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just returned mine. It cost me $90 plus a $69 dollar large box fee, I got free shipping too.  Gues what? It was cheap chinese hand rolled sheet metal fro 30 years ago before die stamped quarters came out.  I just returned mine and got the 90 dollars back but lost the $69.

DON'T GET ONE!          They even didn't post my negative feedback on the quarter.

I would have to agree.  You get what you pay for is all I can say.   :2cents:

Cudaguy71 used them and seems happy  http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=48169.0

I know you get what you pay for, but it sure is tempting.

I have one of those $189 Die stamped driver's side skins that I put on, then read that thread and expected to get the same thing for the passenger side, so I ordered one of those JCW quarters. Was I surprised when I opened the box. I should have taken a pic.

Run Awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! :22yikes:

I found a pair of those in a trunk about 20 years ago. Was going to scrap them when a friend said he'd be happy to take them. This same friend also installed used parts like  a master cylinder in his cars.  :screwy:

i knew a guy a long time ago who would frequent the boneyard when we were there.
he was of the mindset that used brake parts, and suspension parts were good to use...
in fact any parts at all...
i.e. pads, bushings , fuel filters, air filters etc.

hahahahahah

Save your Money. might as well go to Home Depot and buy a piece of sheet metal and bend it by hand it would probably be better. I bought one, it was junk.
