Both sides?
It has been mentioned a couple of times in the thread. (I have not counted, just going from memory)
We are all on the SAME side though.
I just had to toss that out there, think about it for a moment or 20.
Our founding fathers saw to it that we had the right to free speech - whether it was in agreement with the current leaders or not. Others fought to keep that freedom for us when it was in jeopordy.
Personally, I think Sarah Palin is the political equal to Paris Hilton, Sarah has become a media hound & it is sad.
No, I will NOT apologize to Paris for dragging her down to Sarah's level.
Thanks to our founding fathers, & all who have fought to keep America free so I could say that.
That said, agree to disagree as you will, but WE ARE all on the SAME side. Our elected officials seem to have forgotten that, it does not mean that WE should, or will forget it.

Edits below;
Notice the "We", not us & them as the opening line of the Constituition;
"We the people of the United States,"
From "The Liberty Song " published in 1768;
"By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall"
It was not about you or me then, it was about us, all of us. It still is.
