I did a little more scratchin' on the floor. Of course the hole got a bit bigger. Still good for it's age tho IMO.

I took a little weatherstrip adhesive to the well liner. I still got that crap on my fingers!

OK, I gotta ask a really dumb question..... what's the well liner?  For the life of me I can't figure out what you're showing in those pictures.  :dunno:     Can you take a farther away shot?

Thanks,
Travis

I can get a wider shot tonite. But the well liner is a convert ONLY piece. It fits in the well that the top folds into.
Example: If you didnt have a well liner , you could see into the trunk when the top was up.

I also started the SLOW process of fixing my console. Carefull use of a heat gun !!! Warning things get hot!!! Plastic melts!!! But I straightened the first piece pretty well. TAKE YOUR TIME if your gonna try this! Use one of those HEMI heads you have laying around the garage as a straight edge!!

I also did a little on the console itself. I had one piece I found previously glued. Instead of breaking the seal, I chose to reinforce it. I've done similar things to parts at the shop. A ridged paper clip and some jb weld. The ridges really help hold it together. Cut out a groove with a dremel. Or if your like me a dremel attachment in a drill. Done right it will never break on that spot (maybe the one next to it tho LOL) I'll add more reinforcement later...........
