Hi again,
I´m not actually newbie to this site but I´m having new Challenger T/A because I sold my old ´70 R/T Challenger 440 Magnum to my cousin.
This is original J-code T/A car with Mopar Performance 360 Crate engine. It has #match 4-speed manual (A833) with Pistol grip shifter. But part of this deal was also the original TA block (not #match to this car) and complete six pack. So, in the coming years I´ll replace the current 360 crate engine with this original TA block and six pack).
Technically this car is in very good condition but this needs some body work and new painting. My plan to this is to have it it´s original color as it was Plum Crazy. Also nice coincident is that the Scheduled Production Date in the fender tag is exactly the same as my birthdate, so we´ve born at the very same day and year! Of course I know that this is only estimated production date but because nobody knows, in this case I´m pretty sure that this car came out of the factory line on Friday 3rd of April 1970
I bought this car from Denmark and realized that according to Barry´s register there was only one T/A in Finland before
I need to register this to Barry´s register as soon as I´ve rubbered my fender tag and gathered all the documents.
Now I need you opinions which part of the restoration would be good to start with... first the 340 TA engine and six pack or should I do the body work and painting first
Unfortunately I cannot do the both at the same time because it might take too much money and time... or should I just save the money and do everything at the same time?
Here are some pictures to my new T/A Challenger and links to my website and blog:
