Well, wish I had better news.
I mocked it up and thought all was well......figured I might screw it up so I ended up at a meineke shop I thought knew what they were doing.
Here is "the best I can do" according to the "tech" who did it....
Well, at first I didnt care about it being so far off centered....but found out that it is hitting the floorbaords and stuff because of being installed wrong.
I got in touch with Magnaflow and they sent pics of what it SHOULD look like....and, well, it should be centered and much tighter to the undercarriage.
Magnaflows instruction sheet IS misleading and I argued that...but they said the kit inlet pipes are "universal" meaning the tech installing the kit has to know what he is doing.
Obviously, the one doing mine didnt, or didnt care.
Either way, I now have to buy two new inlet pipes, two new reducers/gaskets and have another shop redo it.
I am pretty ticked off.
That said, the exhaust sounds good...mellow till you get on it.....
Will be happy once I get the new pipes (1-2 weeks) and get it to the other shop.
In the meantime the first shop manager claims he will send me a check for the parts needed to be replaced....but not sure that he is going to refund what they charged me to install it.......
The second shop is also a meineke but when I showed the guys the pictures they indicated it was definately a bad job.....
