another ballast resistor question

I just replaced my ballast resistor (the original burned out) and I think I notice a difference in performance.  The car seems to run rich at idle.  The new resistor is 1.2 ohms.  Can this cause a weaker spark and therefore affect performance.  The car starts and runs but seems different.  What value resistor should I use on a 440-6  1970 Challenger with electronic ignition?  It is a 2 pole resistor.

I had just the opposite experience... I think 1.2-ohms is the standard

Are you using a Mopar ignition module, or some other brand? 1.2 Ohms is fine for a Mopar ignition module, but others use slightly less resistance.

thanks guys.  It is a standard mOPAR MODULE SO THE 1.2 IS CORRECT.
