New from Central Cali
« on: June 16, 2009 - 07:54:39 PM »
Thought I'd say hello before posting.  Been into cars my entire life.  I own an auto parts store in Exeter, CA.  I've got a 1970 Dodge Challenger SE I purchased back from the guy I sold it to 24 years ago.  Glad to have it back!  I also own a 68 Coronet R/T.

Thanks for the replies.  The car was originally a 383 Four Barrel N code.  It now has a 440.  The car is equiped with A/C, power disc brakes, Rallye Dash, power windows, 6 way seat, rim blow steering wheel, AM/FM with rear speakers, and automatic transmission.  The car was build Sept 1969 in LA.  What surprises me is that with all the options, it is not an R/T.  Oh well, I still enjoy it!  I could always add the R/T hood or even a Shaker to it later.  The color is Burnt Orange with Burnt Orange interior.  The last owner painted the interior black.  The car is pretty much all original, except for the wheels.  It had the original wire wheel covers on it when I sold it 24 years ago.  I'm thinking of putting some Magnum 500's on it.
