so, i got the car running again this week
of course some more issues but they're getting more and more minor. It took me alot of nursing for a bit but got her idling again. It was a combo of stale gas, the motor being cold and the carb not being fully tuned but after about 20 min. she moved around under its own power again. I have kind of forgotten the car got the new carb on it then it sat for 15 years so more tuning is in store, the problem is that you cant hear a whole lot with open headers so exhaust is on the list, along with a new rad cap.
I'm happy to say the trans is leak free now aswell other than my own stupid mistake... i filled up the trans and let the car get warm but noticed a small leak coming from the dipstick tube
I forgot to put on the new o-ring! so now i need to drain the fluid and do that all over again. other than that the floor is finally staying dry
Im still fighting with my stupid fiberglass fenders but found an original set for sale here for $400 so im starting to get tempted, these dang fenders are the only thing keeping me from painting the rest of the car, other than cash of course. Also its still -30 here so the car will continue to hibernate but hopefully i'll have a video of her driving soon enough.
