SO what are the options on this , I never use autos so I am a bit behind on what & where is avaialble
I have seen the straight one where you slide the whole handle up & down to operate the detent & there is one that leans forward more liek the original 4 spped handle which I prefer the look of , Gunslinger has a straight one with a trigger detent .

I haven't had the opportunity to try one of the Harms pistol grips that is bent forward like the real deal, but I have tried the gunslinger unit and personally I hate it. The reason is when i have it down in low my wrist is cocked funny and is really uncomfortable to operate. I found myself placing my hand on top of the shifter treating it like a ball shifter, and at that point other than looks it defeats the purpose of having it. Just my 2 cents.

Makes sense to me , that is why I do not like the straight ones
so Harms had the bent ones , I will try to get hold of him

I started out with the gunslinger unit and did not like it.  I switched to the bent one that Harms used to sell and like it much better.  Resto Rick sells them now.

Thanks for that link. I didn't know who sold the Harm's pistol grips any longer. They have a lot of awesome stuff I haven't seen before as well.   :2thumbs:

Ahh, if you would just talk to the oriental gal selling the Gunslinger stuff at Carlisle, you would be sold like I was.   :naughty:  Yeah, just another case of me falling in love.

I got 2 of the Harms type from Restorick. 1 for the Cuda and 1 for the Challenger.
I prefer the tilt forward look, and you push the grip down to select gears.

Awesome service, and I'm on the other side of the world.  :nzflag:

The Auto-Grip has a trigger for gear release as opposed to the push-down of Harm's.

No offense taken. I think that one only fits A & B Bodies.

I bought the Gunslinger handle for my '70 Challenger, I have found it great, the trigger is in the right place for me, I would have liked the angled slant of the 4 spd handle though. I personally didn't like the "push down" of the Harms shifter, I think Carl, NZ440, Carlwalski, has a Harms in his '70 Challenger which he prefers. it all comes down to personal preference and natural hand placement.   :2cents:
