I would shop around moparts and racing junk to find the good quality deals.....

I just ordered a 7 QT Milodon pan (MIL-30931) already drilled for the 12AN external oil pickup and a block type dipstick (MIL-22070). And Jason is right. I also did have my hydraulic roller lifters recalled by 440 Source. They did give me a refund, but it was a pain in the butt disassembling a complete built motor and installing another set. I've actually not had a problem with 440 Source products or service until now. I sent an email to Brandon. I'll be interested to see what he has to say....if he responds.

Companies and vendors alike have to know that they will get slammed on sites where people gather to discuss their hobbies. Look at what happened to Dutch. I bet that particular vendor's business will dry up and they will blow away like a tumbleweed. Word of mouth is one thing but word of mouth on the internet will get peoples attention.

I have to say it sucks to hear this about them. I bought one of their mini starters for the Charger and it has worked great so far. I really, really like their valve covers and was going to get a set of them too. But, after hearing that they have leak issues, I'm not so sure about getting them. Does anyone know where I can get valve covers like theirs for about the same price? I was thinking about getting one of their stroker gets eventually too. Has anyone here bought one and if so, any issues?

I have built at least 10 440 / 512 engines using their parts with no issues so far, I have had no issues dealing with Brandon on any parts I have ordered but I have not used his oil pans .
 I agree the way he handled this problem with the pan is wrong , as you said you hole didn`t change the fact the pan was flawed Before you made the hole !
 I would not use their rockers on anything & told Brandon that to his face

Oh for Pete's sake, Now I just came in from trying to install the thermostat housing ( new MP 90 deg) and the stupid bolt holes are spaced wrong on the 440 source water pump!!!! I had to set the housing up in the mill and slot it, so it would fit??? The stock straight one didn't fit either! Apparently they need REALLY big digital display verniers in China so they can read them??? That's now 3 things machined wrong on 1 water pump housing?

  So it seems that the problems stated here with the parts is the actual supplier, China. They seemingly pride themselves with high productivity but evidently not high quality parts. I'd say 440 Source needs to find another supplier of such parts. I can understand their initial logic to buy parts at a very low price so they can sell for a lower price than some of their other competiters. However such situations as you guys have shared just causes them headache problems and jerked off customers, consequently loss of sales. You can get a customer with a good sale price...............ya keep a customer with quality parts and customer service, not looking for a loophole to avoid replacing the part or refunding the sale amount.  You would think that they would understand that concept of operating a business. Another thing, wonder if this Brandon (sounds like the owner ?) is even getting the message that their parts are causing customer problems, or is some "underling" making the decisions here that can cost them a lot of lost sales?

All I know is I was very close to ordering a set of their "ready to go" heads a few months back for the Dart build but was short in the available funds department, now I'm not sure what to do when I do have the money ?? Got to follow the outcome of some of these situations.

the 440source valve covers I bought leaked real bad onto my $900tti headers.. i did manage to get the headers cleaned up but it cost me $90 at a machinist to get the vc's milled flat..... brandon didnt care either...... china is not the fault! brandon is.... he gets bashed on moparts alot but the mods make stuff dissapear/lock cause he is a site sponsor! brandons uses the cheap ass sh!t from china and he knows he does..... its all a game to him cheap parts and no warranty and its your fault.... I hope his business crumbles into sh!t... he is one person I would cave his face in on without any words being said...... he is equivilant to a slum lord 

Several people have made his stroker kits work and several had issues.... 50/50 gamble to me...... 

Buy used edelbrocks before buying his sh!tty ass heads.... or unless you get his heads from Modern Cylinder Head which jeff has corrected the chinese junk errors.... ALL HIS CHINESE PARTS NEED CHECKED BEFORE USING.......
