New to Me CitronYellow 71 Challenger
« on: June 21, 2009 - 12:52:44 PM »
Yesterday I put a sizeable deposit on this car:
http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/1223483089.html

Looking at wednesday bringing it home.   The Original Owner was super nice.  She really tried to baby this car and it shows.  Engine runs tip top and the trans shifts crisp.  Its a shame because its just a 318 2bbl and 904 and of course I want to go faster!!! Couple maintenance items to go, but I really could've driven it home if I had all the cash on me...

Anybody know of any Citron Yellow Challengers?  can't find any good pics of challengers in that color?

has a bambi dent in the driver's fender and the hood (where bambi died)  I got to keep my T/A hood so that solves that...  I think I (*cough* body guy *cough*) can save the fender...

current debate is whether or not to bring it to Carlisle, its rough, but its only original ONCE!!!

thanks for those pics!!!  you have the t/a hood on it, too so that gives me a GREAT idea of what mine is going to look like  :ylsuper:

thanks for all the compliments on my deal finding...  I was not the first to look at this car and I was worried it was going to sell before I got to it!!!  She wasn't budging (it is her baby) and I was prepared for that... after she showed me everything... I was SOLD!!!

Funny thing, I pulled up and there's a guy fiddling with it, I see new MA tags, and there's a NICE grille on it, I almost died thinking she JUST sold it and I just wasted a 90min trip and 3/8 of a tank....  turns out it was her son!!!  whew!!
