Front and Rear Window Chrome

Does anyone know of a way to attach the front and rear window chrome to a challenger. I don't have the nubbings there to use the clips and I would rather not drill holes to use the screw type clips. Might a guy use some sort of adhesive like the urethane that was used to install the windows???

gluing them down will pretty much distroy them when you go the replace the windshield , you need to find a way to attach the clips by screwing them in or welding in new pins or ....

Maybe use a dab or two of epoxy for each clip? lot less permanent then welding or making new holes in the car
