mirros on a 1970 cuda
« on: June 25, 2009 - 01:58:25 PM »
I hope that someone can give me the original measurement of width of the mirror house (across the mirror but the total width of the house) L and R side on a 1970 cuda.

I just bought 2 sport mirrors at Yearone, but there i about 1" differance in the width of the houses!!! is that right? the driver side is 141 mm and the passenger side is 165 mm (1" is 25,4 mm)

Thanks for your time :-)

I dont have the measurememnts here with me, but the passenger mirror is wider than the driver mirror and does look different than the driver mirror. It is 70 only.  A body darts and duster have the same type of sport mirror with a different base

Yes, the 70 only driver and passenger mirrors are totally different when you have them side by side.  It isn't that noticeable when they are on the car though.

The 71-74 mirrors are much more similar, but are different from the 70 only mirrors.
