Well the goal is for us to meet at the hotel, and those we know are coming we meet in the parking lot, shoot the breeze, and Doc's is right next to the hotel, we just walk over.
After dinner, we hang in the parking lot of the hotel with the cars and some adult beverages.

I show it to be 14 miles from I-81 and the turnpike intersection.  Hope this helps.

Just checking if I can still cross the border without a passport. I hear you still can? I'm in Canada. I plan on being there for the dinner Saturday! I should arrive late Friday night! I'm looking forward to meeting you all! :2thumbs:

Ya I knew that but my inlaws who live in PA tell me that they are relaxing the border crossings for Canadians for the summer. They said that they had friends cross last week that didn't have passports. They are taking my son back with them today for 2 weeks. I asked his to double ckeck that at the border to make sure? So we will see?

Cross at the Whirlpool Bridge if you can, but it may be open to EasyPass holders only. The peace bridge always used to be a little better than Rainbow. Lewiston is always a winner, too.

I usually cross at Lewiston. My father in-law just phoned and said it will be risky as it depends on the border guard. It up to there discretion. I'm looking into getting a passport. I have it already to go just haven't mailed it in. I understand if I drive down to Toronto I can get one in 24 hours if I pay the extra. Might be worth it. I was planning on driving my son home from PA as he is visiting grandma and grampa. We'll see?

Thanks Al!
You were going to get me a throttle cable and bracket for a 440. I know you have been busy though ! I bought a Lokar throttle cable and bracket so I'm good. Thanks though!
Your a generous guy! The world needs more like you! Look forward to meeting you at Carlisle!

Got my passport today so I'm coming! Dinner sounds great count me in! I plan on sleeping in my conversion van so I need to know where and what time? I'm a newbie with Carlisle so I don't know the area? I plan on just finding the CC.Com tent on Friday afternoon and tagging along from there?
