It's official Plum Crazy 2010 Challenger!

I was just at my Dodge dealership looking at the 2010 model book and plum crazy is listed for the Challenger in 2010. There are no details on the special edition package that the color will be on other than it will be a "buzz model" whatever that means.

If it is true to the original that would be sweet. Still like B5 but FC7 would sure give it a run for its money. My 70 basket case is Plum, that would be sweet to have a couple of purple cars in the driveway

It's the same color that was on the Charger a couple of years ago, it is similar but definitely a different color. My 70 Challenger is also factory plum crazy, but like yours mine is a basket case.

On another note, hemi orange has been pulled from the lineup.

Earlier this year they were saying 3 new colors for 2010.  Many were speculating purple would be one, and lime green would be another.  Did you see anything about 2 other new colors for 2010, or maybe did they scale it back to just one?
I was hoping the third would be that burnt orange like color that was available on the Charger Daytonas a year or two back!
There were supposed to be some limited edition yellow SRT8's made this month, but with the plant shut down for the bankruptcy most of the month I wonder if that was cancelled, or even postponed until 2010?

Plum Crazy is the only new color listed in the 2010 color book and the order book. Now does that mean it will be the only new color for next year, not necessarily. Chrysler can always add something mid year, time will tell.

I have heard that yellow and white would be added to the SRT lineup in 09 at the end of the year.  But... that was before they shut down production.  Anyone know if those colors are going to be available on the SRT models?

Due to the shut down from the bankruptcy and only a month left of 09 production before the retool there are no new colors for the 09 lineup.

Did the info say purple was only available on the special model, or will it be available on SE/RT/SRT?

Have you posted this at challengertalk.com yet?  I didn't see you or anyone else start this topic over there.

There was no information other than a special buzz model in plum crazy. No details on whether it would be available on the full line up or just one. I tried to post it on challengertalk.com but for some reason it wouldn't let me start a thread on it.
