I saw it Wed night,I liked it. It had too much cussing and was very sexually explicit though. My 5 yr old niece has been collecting Tranformer figures and has been waiting for the movie to come out and I had to tell my brother she really should not see it! :walkaway:

The combat action scenes where great as always. The parents were in the movie WAY too much.

I haven't seen it yet, but your comment brought up something that has been sort of bothering me for a while.

Your comment that it was sexually explicit makes me wonder about our priorities.  We don't seem to be bothered by exposing our kids to extreme violence in movies, overt sexuality and disrespect for women in music videos, violence and sexuality combined in "teen" scary movies, promotion by various groups of acceptance of "alternate" lifestyles and disrespect for traditional families, and yet we feel we have to protect our kids from seeing loving, normal sex.  Perhaps we should censor the violence and perversion that our kids are allowed to see, and let them see what is normal.......I dunno, it just seems to me that there is something wrong with our society when we censor normalcy and accept and encourage the opposite.   :dunno:

There is an underlying agenda in Hollywood that puzzles me.  The biggest moneymaker films are generally family-oriented movies with positive values.  Yet they are still making countless movies that don't make a lot of money and promote evil and depravity.  If the movie industry wants to make money, why not concentrate on money-making movies?    :clueless:   If the industry doesn't want to make money, what does it want to accomplish and why?

The "violence" of the fighting, shooting missiles, explosions etc I would expect, since it was in the first one. What I didn't expect was all the cussing, the close up of a women's crouch from behind etc. Not that it bothered me,I am 45 years old,I was thinking of when my 5 year old niece watches it. It just really wasn't necessary for the story of the movie.

Took my two boys to see it last night.  Great Flick!!!  There were some references the parent in me could have done without but overall  :2thumbs:  My boys, ages 8 & 11, LOVED it.  They missed the drug references (thankfully) and thought some of the "sexual" humor was hilarious but in an innocent sort of way.  Definitely not a movie for my wife or daughter - too loud, too many car chases, too many explosions for them. But as a guy, great way too cool off from the 101 degree heat   :2thumbs:

I totally agree with all the explicits they had in this one.  Why mess up a good thing.  The movie was exellent, but for my young ones all the "extra" could have been left out. (I did like the little shot of the wrecking "balls" on the BIG bot on the pyramid....  :roflsmiley: )  I saw it in IMAX and it was the best sounding IMAX I've been to hands down!
