the right mounts is a 440 style / wedge mount
Can you see 3 hoiles drilled into the block behind that mount?

Really cant see much block wise, maybe w a mirror. But I told Schumacker the RT looked like a 440 and the LT looked kinda homemake... Aruzza was the first thing he said....  :dunno: but what do I KNOW...  :clueless:  Kinda wierd they dont have a website... at least not one I can find.  :pullinghair:

I would call John Arruzza at Aruzza High Performance Ph. (336) 475-0426.  Maybe he could email you a photo, or look at the ones you took?

I'm only about 30 miles from Aruzza if you'd like me to go over there. I've never been and would like to anyway. It probably wouldn't be until after Carlisle, though.

I know sogtx and Tom_Quad over there at mofarts. I will hold my tongue at this juncture in the game. Last I knew, sogtx had sold that car for many dollars, but that was in 2007. Maybe he bought it back.

Seems like everybody swears by the Aruzza mounts despite their rough appearance.

Alan, MCG is what Schumacher's told me. He then added you can't afford MM anymore.....

He might be getting ready for Carlisle possibly. He usually answers quite quick. I've spoken twice to him before. Both times were fast response.

Guess who just called me back!! He does not think the mounts are his but rather what he called "mickey mouse" from a club years ago. He says his are lazer cut yada yada. BUT he had no pic he could send/fax and did NOT want to see the pics of mine....

I thought it was nice of him to get back to me tho... (caller ID I guess)

They use caller ID as an answering machine 'round these parts. Don't ask....

Funny, yhe post over on Mofarts called them "Aruzza Mickey Mouse" mounts. Looks like two different "manufacturers".

What's your thought on a solution, Chris?

Steve, I've come to a verdict just an hour ago. If you look at the mount on the left (pardon my leaky azz steering gear) the welds look real "bubble gum" and there are 2 different mounting holes.  :eek7: The right still looks 440ish to me.  :crying:  Schumacher here I come!  :grinyes: Now is this to say they are OR are not Aruzza.. I don't know, he was not real cooperative on any picture identification tho... And I gotta plead the 5th cause I got her this way.  So stay tuned for the Schumacher install addition in my restoration post.
