You gotta be really careful these days - with Photoshop easily accessible these days, there are a lot of people who are designing cars and slapping pictures up on the internet.  Someone finds it, posts it on a few car boards and *BAM* - a "concept car" is born.

It's obviously someone who got creative with a Challenger concept or studio image and put their name on it.  Just the presence of the signature in the first photo tells me that this is an "artists rendering" - not an actual concept car.

All that being said, it looks good, but still looks too similar to the 300/Charger/Magnum/Challenger.

Call me crazy, I like it better than the Challenger. Really nails the 71 RR to a T. I know it wont happen though, at least not the way it should, as a Plymouth. I sure wish they had given the PT cruiser to Plymouth, that and the Prowler would have definitely been enough to save the name.

Why would they design a car based on the 71+ RR when that was not a very popular style? If they want to go retro, they should base it on the 68-70 models, which are much more popular.

Anyways, it'll never happen now.

fantastic design.
the reason it works so well as a modern car, and the reason why the earlier b bodies wouldn't, is that the rounded 'fuselage' body form translates well into the bloated body style that today's safety and air efficiency standards require.

i love it.
works heaps better than pretty much all the 'modern retro' muscle cars...
the designer did a superbird version that's pretty good too.

I like it!  I've seen that before and I think the fuselage B-bodies are very cool, looks doable with the current Challenger platform, IMO.

I'm a huge fan of the '71's so I love this design. I picked up enthusiast right away after seeing this on the cover a while back.
