1973 Plymouth Barracuda
« on: July 02, 2009 - 02:32:16 PM »
Here's my Cuda the day I got it.  It's a 1973 Barracuda 318 Automatic.  It was originally some kind of red (don't know the exact code/name), then painted plum crazy and finally violet.  The side markers were shaved, hid head lights installed, "Cuda" hockey sticks and flow masters.  I bought it in Monterey, CA and drove it down to Santa Barbara the same day.  I've put around 600 miles on the car now and just took the front suspension off to repair some frame damage (rust).

....and yes, I filled the tires up with air before I drove it home.

Welcome to the site.  I love that color purple - add some nice wheels and you'll have a great looking cruiser!  What are your plans for it?

Thanks everyone.  Yes, this is my first Mopar.  I plan to upgrade suspension, brakes, wheels and tires.  I am looking at the XV Motorsports Level 1 kit but still have more research to do before I buy anything.

Thanks,
Dave
