I know, I know, simple mechanic stuff, but I'm not sure about this, and have not yet found the answer. You can poke fun at me if you want. I have a 73 Cuda with front power disc brakes and rear drum. The master cylinder is a dual reservoir, and I need to know what the correct fluid level should be for one or both reservoirs. I don't see any marks to go by. There is a clip that secures the cap over the two humps over each reservoir, and when I unclip it and take the cap off there is a rubber gasket under the cap. On the gasket closest to the back it says fluid side. The reservoir to the back is rectangular with rounded corners. the reservoir to the front is similar to a half circle and extended slightly. The fluid is 2/3 high in the rear reservoir, and it looks empty in the front. The car has been sitting for some time while I've been doing body work. I can't imagine that front reservoir is supposed to be empty. Thanks in advance for any help.
