What end caps?

:iagree:  Factory body side moulding does not have end caps.  They are squared on the ends like in the above pics, not rounded/pointed as typical aftermaket mouling is.  :2cents:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Very nice! Great to see one with the side moldings & stripes still intact.

I would love to use one of your photos as an example of EV2 V1W V5W on this page http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/colorsExt/colorsExt-EV2.shtml if it is OK with you?

sure no problem feel free to use any of those pics, they are my pictures, but not my car though.

I met my cosin last night in StCharles Mo. and he was telling me I should have gone to the Fenton car cruize.  He said there was a all original Hemi Cuda convertible survivor show up.  I bet that is the car he was refering to.  I doubt both a hemi coup and convertible survivor would show up at a local cruize?  He is a Impala guy so what do you expect?

cool car and a great survivor .the pics are a little fuzzy but the side moldings are after market cut to close to the edges and no end caps . later style blue plug wires and a later ecu . my point is i just looked at a documented 429 cj this week one owner and it has 14k on the od but his records show its over on miles but still looks like its been garaged since new . as the owner told me he drove the car for five years hard and put it up so the car looks low milage since the elements exposure was short term . my point is the hemi looks the same and the plug wires are very late 90s and up ,not picking just rambling here . cool pics thanks

I think you are off a little with the side moldings.

But, I don't think that car looks that great for only 6800 miles. Mileage on the OD is just a number, but condition is everything.

Seems like a lot of stuff has been replaced for 6800 miles. Maybe it was out in the elements or a not sealed off garage for while. Sort of looks like it.

On aside, not particually referencing this car...I just feel some of these ultra low mile "survivors" have had their OD's disconnected or messed with.  Or they were raced with another motor with another rear end, trans, holes drilled for race stuff in the engine compartment, etc etc.

When these survivors get traded over the years and end up with collectors somehow things are conveniently forgotten. Like that repaint in 1975, or engine compartment repaint, 40% repaint on just the top surfaces, engine detailing when it was put "back" in the car....

i talked to the owner last night and he told me the car has been in his family since new and always garaged, you are correct some things on the car have been changed, upgraded ignition and such, but i seen the car in person, and it looks like original paint and interior to me.
