I lived fairly close to the border as a teenager and all the time guys went down there to party cheap in Juarez. Now the latino guys did not get hassled much at all, especially if they could speak the lingo. The white guys like me took a chance of getting rolled for their dough, happened all the time. They had a set routine where a guy would start **** with you and even if you did not respond to his crap a cop would come in and arrest you for disturbing the peace. The piece of dung cop would then shake you down for all you had on you and then leave you broke somewhere in the town. Every time I was invited to go I just said no thanks I will party here and pay extra for the safety of keeping my money and my life intact. Like Al said, many, many really good people down there but not much in the way of civilized culture.

Nice place to visit if you stay within the confines of your resort. Baja is nice, too, but it's funny, the Mexicans call it "California".

You couldn't pay me to live there. Well, it depends how much you'd pay me.  :swaying:

I am not talking about Cabo or other resort destinations. From what I have heard some of them rival the nicest spots on earth for their Pacific beauty. I have never been down there but would not hesitate to either. The place I am talking about is where all the people have been getting their heads cut off as of late. We are comparing pearls and horse turds lol.

Yeah, problem is, a lot of the horse turds are sneaking across the border with the good ones. Then they go live in a "Sanctuary City" and do what the He11 ever they please. Its no wonder every place in the country is starting to have gang related problems. THe horse turds will ruin this country just like they ruin their own, and none of our politicans have enough balls to put a stop to it.

I just got home.  :bananasmi  and im updating my computer. Tomorrow I ship wages some parts, go see my dad for his birthday and start working on my car trailer so I can see about bringing my car.

And ALSO tomorrow I will be hammering down on the gas pedal in my barracuda. It is not a powder puff challenger. It is not the fastest car around, but it does get plenty of street use. Plymouths have always ruled the roads :stirpot:

We have one of each, but we both prefer the Barracuda.

I did come close to putting a little Challenger in my Barracuda.  My door panels are pretty rough and we have a couple spare sets for a Challenger so I thought maybe, just for a while I could use those til I found some Barracuda panels.  Close, except the door handle and window cranks are not in the same place.
