Rear Quarter Repair Panels for '70 Challenger
« on: July 07, 2009 - 05:36:38 PM »
Hi, here's a question for you all E-body experts

I would need for a 1970 Challenger front and rear lower quarter repair panels. Can you recommend some suppliers and who's should be avoided?

I was looking that Dante's is having lowest prices, but who might be his supplier on these parts and how they might fit?

Try these guys.  It's been a long time since I ordered anything from them, but I was happy with their service.

BE prepared to bang on them for a few hours...... :22yikes: :villagers:

It took me 8 to get mine remotely close. Rear pass side lower, from the rear bumper to the wheel lip. The part came as a section that included the wheel lip, turn signal pocket and lower extension flange. They just sucked. :dunno: I had to cut them down to 1/3rd the size to get it close. The lines were so far off, it might as well have bee a different car....
Mine were probably not AMD. They also might have been REALLY OLD TOOLING..... :roflsmiley:

The full quarters have better flanges all around, but the patch panels have issues with the depth of draw, accuracy of the return flanges, etc...

I'll post a pic...
