    Seems like I have been on the go forever and no time to myself at home, other than a day or two here n there.

    I just came home from work out of the country and last night made my reservations for Carlisle. Now work calls and they said they need me down by New Orleans this Monday for 3 weeks :pullinghair:

    I just finally finished building the 499 440 source stroker short block this afternoon and was installing a roller cam and the phone rang.....work..............

    Besides driving round trip 1600 miles to Carlisle, I have to drop the wife and friend off then go another 425 mile to Southern Louisiana.  Gonna be tough on me. Plus tomorrow I have to go test drive the 70 lime cuda 528 hemi car my friend has forsale for another member here . So thats another 120 miles.  I get no time to just relax, cause I have to load parts up for members Im meeting at the show, install a carb on an 81 dodge truck and get ready for thursday morning 6am trip.   No time to play......no time to play..........No.time.....to .....play :faint:

    Al you know the work down in La. will be waiting on you. Think of it this way, if you were on another job say in Kansas (work is the only reason to go to Kansas  :roflsmiley: ) instead of having a couple days off they would have to wait until that job was done before you could get down there.  ................You now have a job in Carlisle, delivering parts and meeting some very appreciative Mopar buds. So when you leisurely drive down to bayou country the job will be there. Enjoy Carlisle then go south and enjoy some fine shellfish and wine. Now that is a plan brother.   :2thumbs:  :cheers:

    Well AL, I am on a trip right now (Athens, GA) and won't be back until the 17th but whatta ya say we get together soon down in NOLA and I'll give you a 70 'cuda taillight wiring harness that just needs a couple light bulb sockets installed and it's good to go. Steaks on me this time. What part of town are you staying in? Might want to try to get a room in Slidell to avoid all the NO thugs.

    Well, I just got done stripping down Strokers Dana 60 and loading it in the truck. Wally's dash pad, Barry's tags, and Hemikens carb. Filled the truck up, programmed the gps for New Columbia Pa and alarm is set for 6 am.  So I will be at the show, but have to leave out early sunday morning, drop off the wife and my friend, hook up my trailer and skiddadle on down to Louisiana.  It will be a long ride. But I am going to the show.  John, I am not sure as to the exact motel down there yet. Send me your cell number.  I will catch up to you.  I'm getting tired of working ALL THE TIME.... Driving from canada to florida to maine ti Washington state.  It would be nice to slow down a bit and start enjoying life a bit more.   But the bills dont slow down, so off I go Again
