70 vs 71 cuda Go Wing

I've read the 70 and the 71 Go wings mounts were different.   I see there are 2 different mounting locations and brackets for the 2 years.  Is this correct and does the 71 sit further forward???

 I can't answer if one sits further forward than the other I have never really paid attention . But I can tell you the two spoilers do use different mounting plates ( under the decklid) . Also a 1970 spoiler decklid was spoiler cutout that are a completely different size and shape than the cutouts for a 1971 spoiler

70 and 71's each had different mounting hole shapes underneath for the wing pedestal feet to mount onto.

The wings were different
70 is a go wing
71 is a gull wing

Thanks...appreciate the info on the mounting brackets ...Anyone know if the 71 "gull wing" sits further forward than the 70 "go wing"?
