I don't think he is mad or anything,I think that he is just very busy in some other matters.

I know that Carl has been busy with his own NZ Mopar forum, NZ Mopar Registry and his cars and truck. I have been a member of his NZ forum for about a year and keep in touch with him a couple of times a week and all is well.

I asked Carl the same question a while back and he thought that a lot has changed at CC, with a lot of the long time "originals" parting ways. He told me he didn’t enjoy seeing the direction that CC was going especially when Rev-it-Up left and felt it hasn't been the same since. He said it's lost the "family" touch and is now just like any other large forum.

I have mentioned this thread to Carl and he had no problem with me conveying his thoughts. He told me that he hasn't left for good and harbors no ill feeling. He's just lost interest in CC over the last year or so and didn’t want to start a big drama thread about it. He just logged out.

Thanks Jim.

Still around, Jim covered most of it, sad to see this site losing it's once family vibe. Haven't been here for a while now, I lurk every now and then but yeah. Ha, like Ross's post count, he's either been real busy posting 100 posts per day and joining in or it's just the way he is? ::) Kind-a lame lol. Good to see some of the "oldies" are still hanging around.

Bullitt, yeah, been fishing but haven't spotted MJ, Elvis said to say high though.

Come back Carl. If you old schoolers keep leaving then this place will really go downhill. We miss you man, come on back and bring some of the old vibe with you.

Stroker, you sure have a way with words. "At all"? lol I'm no chryco but have learnt a shlt load over the years and done lots on The Batram and will be doing Dad's 73 'Cuda as well - a full resto. Plus working on and with mates on their cars. And people wonder why this place lost lost it's vibe......

Thanks to everyone else, nice to see some of the older names. Guess I'm a grump and want the old CCC back lol. Logging in over the last year and just the other day it was worse, I knew NO ONE on the "Who's Online" list. :sly: :-\ Lots of newbs, most come here to brag or run their mouths, almost like a You Tube comment blog lol.

MOPAR FANATIC - Thanks mate, nope. Long story but I pulled the plug on any classic. 3 cars are more than enough for me: Lucy, BATRAM and the Jeep. I don't want to spend money on something that will just sit in the garage. Cool saying I have "Charger/Cuda" and having nice photos splashed around the web but in the real world, I have enough trouble getting out and enjoying the cars I have. So having $200K sit in one place isn't an option - NEGLECT isn't my style. ;) Lucy is my classic/baby and the BATRAM is my modern street brawler. More than enough. Dad's car is getting the Hemi and all the goods from my 71. XV stuff etc etc. We'll work on that together and it will eventually come to me, plus I'll get to enjoy it as well.
