Went to United Auto today, they ordered me a new brake booster, Brake Master Cylinder, and are rebuilding the brakes, all for a super reasonable price.
I also stopped by Mancini racing today, and Warren Pipe and hardware. I was  looking for some engine mount bolts, finally made it to  Warren Pipe, after 3 different places- THEY HAD the CORRECT ENGINE MOUNT BOLTS!!!!
7/16 Coarse thread, Zinc cad finish, 4" long, grade 8 bolts.

Tonight, the oil pan should be on the car, and on the K frame. Then in he car!!!!

 :bananasmi Wow! Excellent work there!

I noticed that you had welded your own brackets for the front stabilizer bar on the lower control arms. Do you have some good measures for the placement or did you just use pics/test fitted the bar for the correct position? I'll need to weld brackets for mine and so far I mainly have couple of pics to use as a reference.

With that speed your car is up and running in a no time!  :burnout:

Kapteenikosmos,

Thanks for the great comments! :lol2:
Mind you, this has taken place over the course of 3 years. I sped up the build by skipping over a lot of little things, and just tried to recap what ground I have already covered.
LAtely I have been working at a feverish pace - much to the dismay of my wife :swear:, spending money like its going out of style... :roflsmiley:
My goal is to  get it running my the week of the Woodward  cruise. Its a BIG stretch, but I have a little time to spend on it with the  2 week shutdown. I'll be callin my friends, and buyin lotsa beer

As far as the lower control arm, the bracket that is mounted on there is a bolt-on. I can measure for you and take a oic for dimensions, no problem. Give me your e-mail and I'll send it your way.

Many htanks for the positive reinforcement. I have gas in my veins, and car on my brains!
 :droolingbounce:

Seriously, I'm a nutjob. I can't believe I am doing this. I know its a lofty goal to hit- making the car run by 8-15.
Anyone who want to hep is more than welcome. I suck at electrical. I am sur eI am going to be :banghead: against a wall when I start that job.

I have to pick up the brake booster, master cylinder, tie rod end, (don't ask :clueless:) front brake calipers, felpro intake manifold gaskets, and front brake lines tomorrow from United. These guys rock.
So today was oil pan day. Anyone like oil pans should step up and have some... :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:
Heres what I did, after the pan......

I struggled with the drivers side header today. :working: under the car, since I did not mount the headers to the engine before I dropped the car down on the engine ass'y. :dupe:

So, off came the steering gearbox. What a wrestling match that was! :banghead: A little scratched paint, but not too bad. :dunno:
Then I decided to set up the steering assembly. Of course, that was a lot more complicated than I thought. :o :grinno:
A few scratches here and there, but I am ready to combat the passenger side header.

I put my nasty seat in, and the wife pretty much told me to get a new cover... :grinyes:
Got my new engine bay harness delivered today, so I am getting closer.
I need to rebuild my HVAC box, glue my insulation on the firewall, then start the spaghetti torture...I mean wiring....

Dan
New pics tomorrow!
