** Bondo UV Cure Any Feedback? **

   Doing body filler research & ran across this UV Cure Bondo.  I have used a traditional filler but was looking for something easier to spread thin & give more work time. IF I can find a UV source for my garage this looks like the ticket.

  Anyone with any experience with this product?

That is a glazing and spot putty not a filler so it`s only meant for very thin,small spots over primer.It also dries in 10 minutes so not a lot more time to work it than regular type.

Let me tell you where I'm at & what I'm thinking.   
   Patch panel on rear qtr. is in... I have put body filler over the entire effected area & sanded down with a long board & in the contours roughed the shapes back. Also as I sanded if a small high spot showed up I pinged it back down.
   So my immediate need is for a thin skim coat that may be a little thicker in some areas bot nothing more than 1/2 dime thick.    This 2-part filler is thick & gets thicker quickly, in 90+ degree weather, I have tried reducing the activator but at best it starts to harden within 5-minutes.    Long term I would like to skim coat the entire car.
    What is appealing to me about the UV cure Bondo is it states "Cures fast in direct sunlight in less than 10 minutes." so I think if I apply it in the subdued light of my garage it will stay pliable until it is exposed to a strong UV light.

how bout a high build primer instead?

Maybe a high build primer if you alreay have the profile work done. I have used the Dolphin glaze stuff. It is thin and a little runny but it dries fast and sands REAL easy. I use it for final surfacing before primer topcoat. The easy sanding is what makes it such a great product.

if all you want to do is skim the car, use Evercoat G2 high build primer, it's a well proven product, I don't know what I would do without this stuff in my shop, I've been using this for over a decade
