heater box install

Just re-istalled my heater box after 4 years. Everything fit ( heater water lines and motor through firewall, but there is a gap on the passenger side top ducting. Is this normal from years of saging? Are there just three firewall motor bolts and the screws to the interior firewall?

There is also a threaded J-hook that helps support the back & hold it tight to the upper cowl, if you find it & install it, the gap will go away.

There is a 1/2" foam seal on my non-a/c heater box between the box & cowl. I made one from some hardware store insulating strip with adhesive on one side.
