Interior color - white
« on: July 16, 2009 - 06:18:20 PM »
Does anyone know where to get paint (I think it's called SEM paint) for interior door panels? Napa??
And does anyone have the SEM color code for white?

SEM is a specific brand.  You can get other stuff at Autozone, but SEM offers a full kit (cleaner/adhesive/dye) that you can order online.

Here's their website http://semproducts.com/?home=1

I am interested as well. Is it the  SEM Colorcoat system? If so what code is the right one for Mopar interior white that will match the seat covers?

Not real sure about that.  It's good stuff but pretty expensive.  What I did with my door panels was douse them with a can or two of carb cleaner, wash thoroughly with soap and water and a stiff sponge, then had them sprayed with a dye that we bought in a quart size can from the paint store.

When I did the interior of the convertible, I went looking for the exact color in a spray can.  I ended up buyer a couple cans from local stores and none of them were the correct color.  I found a place online that I bought from and they were great!  Perfect match.  I still have all of them I think??  Let me look in the garage and see what I can come up with . .
