A guy walks into NAPA & asks the parts guy;

"Hey, can I get an oil filter for a Yugo"

The parts guy pauses for just a second & then says;

"Sure, that sounds like a fair trade."

I think that if you were only driving in a city and not on the road this could be some guys answer.  Yes it could end up like the Yugo.  and that was a good one Barry.   :roflsmiley:
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

The version of the Nano that is being sold in India is not the version we will see in the US. We will get the slightly larger and safer version that's planned for the European market called the Nano Europa.

Is that a 4-door 2-seater?

I'd hate to be the one riding in the back.

Looks OK for a daily driver.  I don't understand why people freak when a small car hits the market.  If driving one of those (or a fiat) to work during the week gives me enough cash to fill the tank on the classic on weekends, why not?  Gas won't be $2/gal forever.:dunno:

Go find a "Smart car" that's been in a serious wreck. My families safety is worth way more than any price of a gallon of gas. The saying"There is no substitite for cubic inches" goes for sheet metal too. Just my  :2cents:

I guess you're thinking we all live in urban enviroments. My parents live 4 miles down a dirt road with washboards. That thing would shake apart. They have a farm so there is a real necessity for trucks too. Seems like all the Green weenies forget that when they are screaming about big vehicles.

It's obvious that this car would not cut it for 20% of the the country that live in rural areas, but for the other 80% of us that live in urabn areas a car like this would be decent daily transportation.

Cutting emmissions isn't just about saving trees in a country most of us will never visit.  It's about our health as well,

I dont mind the idea of a little sh1t box to drive around, but make something worth looking at. Honestly though I would fear for my life to drive that thing down the road.

the only role i can see for something like that in my life would be to throw it in the back of my pickup truck incase it breaks down.  sadly what youre looking at is probably the future vehicle for all but the wealthiest among us.   for the rest of us the day is soon coming when your choices are going to be hopping in a little electric egg or standing in line waiting for the government to send a bus or choo choo train by.  sad times in the land of the free.

I'd build my own car before I drove anything like that!

One could save a lot of money just going out, and buy a glof cart. Fabricate a bigger tank on it :dunno: I think a golf cart is actually bigger.
