My daughter has CANCER
« on: July 17, 2009 - 10:56:06 PM »
She called me crying and said that she didnt want to worry me. She thought I was out of town.  She goes in for surgery the 23rd.  And is very scared. She may not be able to have children now.  It's some kind of cancer they can burn out of her some how.   She is my youngest and only girl. I told her I will be there through the whole time.  23 yrs old and still waiting for Mr right.   My heart is bleeding for her.  I am told this operation has a very good success percentage.

I wish it was me and not her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lost a beautiful daughter at 18 years old, so I really have difficulty responding to these types of threads.  But I will tell you Alan, your daughter and your family have my strongest prayers and best wishes. Keep us posted on her progress my friend.....

I'm really sorry to hear that Al. I wish I had the magic words to say to make it all better but I don't. You and your daughter will be in my prayers though. Hang in there and try to stay positive.

Al,
My heart goes out to you & your family.

Check out the Hoxie Clinic in Mexico, my dad has been going there for his cancer treatments. It has been four years now, so far so good.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I truly hope she recovers and all goes well. :sadwavey: I'm actually sitting in the hospital right now. My grandma is on the edge of passing. She has lung cancer. By the end of the weekend doctors say she'll be gone. We've been here since 8pm last night. Another night here tonight too.

At a loss for the right words to say.  Place your daughter in the Lord's hands.
