Or is it you want to run only 5" backspacing in the rear and you want to rotate rims and tires?? yes i would like that option, but now i will look in to the hotchkis, that is an idea ??? thanks :2thumbs:

Maybe just run a 1/2 spacer in the back. But I understand, the 9.5 isn't really neccesary with the 275/40/17 tires and 5" backspacing would not need any spacers or need to run longer studs in the rear.

Is there any way a 17x9.5 with 5" backspacing is going to fit in the front of your Challenger?

I'm still wearing down my obsolete 245/50/15 comp ta's. But after that I'm stuck with with 17" and I will cram a 275/40/17 on a 17x9 5.5 backspace in the front of my A-body 68 Cuda somehow someway. I'll have to trim the lower front fender lip about 1" by 3" triangle I think.

Cutting or lipping that on you car might fit the 9.5 rims too?

That KMC hot wheel rim is a really nice looking rim that is very inexpensive too.

the lower front fender lip about 1" by 3" triangle I think.  i did that too i rounded it,cause it will hit a large tire if left in the stock dimension
