** Leaf Spring Paint ? ***
« on: July 20, 2009 - 10:03:25 PM »
I'll be painting my leaf springs soon, can anyone recommend taking the spring pack apart or is it not worth the trouble?

I just use a gloss black.  Tremclad I believe.  IIRC the factory crudely dipped them in some kind of black crap. You could go crazy and take them apart and paint them individually.  :screwy:

Ive seen them painted black and left natural heat treated steel on factory vehicles.  All boils down to what your car came with originally or what you prefer?
