Tent @ Mopar Nats???
« on: July 21, 2009 - 07:46:14 AM »
Does CC.com have a tent where members can get together and meet at the Nats like at Carlisle? I didn't make to the tent at Carlisle. I spent all my time searching for parts.

I have heard of clubs having special parking but not a tent.  Someone would have to bring a tent to the show for the club.  In the last few years, we would pick a members car and meet there on Saturday at 1:00 or something.  Then I think there is a dinner on Saturday night that is organized but I haven't been.   :dunno:

:iagree:

The problem is we are so spread out, Like this year it is multiple carbs, so we will be parking on the otherside of the race track.  I always put my CC.com card on my dash, so if you are walking by you can see it.  Then like 4C said, usually meet up as a group and take pictures, you will know instantly that it is CC.com members, who else would be so good bunch of guys.

Dinner is over in Heath Sat. night, buffet last year.

Sooo, do you all meet at some point on the grounds, or just dinner, or both?   :dunno:

Well we have met at a designated time at an afore mentioned location, such as the event tent or at someones car to meet and for a couple pics. Then those who want and have the time the last few years Rob has forewarned the dinner that we'd be there  :roflsmiley:  I haven't saw posted any information such as this as yet, so since across the track is the best parking places and seemingly the most available room why don't we gather around Scotts' (pink panther) car say around  1:00 in the afternoon, that way most would have probably grabbed a lunch and not feel rushed to get away.

I can't remember the name of it Rob (shelbydog) knows. It is in Heath on Saturday night right off the main drag, eat then go watch all of the mopars cruising.

Jim,
It is whatever everyone wants to do, I would like to get a  group pic as many members that don't go always like to see a group pic.  I think we did it at Carlilse and members tried to guess who was who

Saturday is the traditional day to meet as a group because that's when most can be there if they can't make the whole 3 day show. I can't remember the diners name either Scott, but I think it was a womans name ?? Real good food and very reasonable too...............after all it is all ya want to eat  :roflsmiley:

Here's the placed from last year: Let me know when to meet at the track.
Rob

Saturday night, the place to be is on Hebron Rd. for the big Heath Cruise.  We can once again get together for a quick bite at Stacy's Homestyle Buffet around 6:00 PM. That will give us time to get a good spot to watch or cruise the cruise.   The cruise stops at 10 PM. You can still cruise Hebron but the police don't allow burnouts on the street after 10.   My Hotel seems to have some kind of Burnout contests till at least 12. We stay in the Quality Inn in Heath, right next to the cruise area.  The back parking lot seems to have alot of smoke at all times.
