New Hood Emblems (345 Hemi)
« on: July 21, 2009 - 01:50:33 PM »
I picked these up a while back, put them on last night.  A little different... Also moved the grille emblem.

I like them more then the standard "Hemi" badges.

I like it. I thought about moving my grill emblem to the driver's side too. Was that bad research on their part, or what??   :dunno:

I really like those hood emblems too!  My '12 didn't come with "Challenger" on the grille.  Does anyone know if a '70 script grille emblem will fit?  or does anyone make a script emblem that does?
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?

I got my emblems from the link below.  They are much closer to the originals then the custom ones.  Also the original 70 script emblem will fit the grille.  You just need to use some good emblem or double stick tape to hold it in place.

Very cool, the "Challenger" grill emblem looks better moved to the correct side to    :2thumbs:

Yes the70 emblem fits , I did this on Denises car , I had to make some plastic washers to go behind the grille as the nut fits through the grille holes as they are larger than the 70

I used a hair dryer and fishing line.

When you get the ones off of ebay.  They don't have quite the same look as original 70's Dodges.  But they are pretty cool.  I have a set sitting here if I ever need them.
