This is a Slap-Stik light eh!?!?!
« on: July 27, 2004 - 03:46:36 AM »

Is this the slap-stik light indicator? If my Challenger never had the slap-stik shifter where does the connector connect to? Do I get my mechanic/Restorer to make up a new socket?

Cheers,
NZ  ;)

NZ, I checked out that link and now I think I too am going to be looking around to find one of these.  I knew there was an shift indicator light, but I can't really remember what remains I pulled from the car as far as the wrecked wiring goes..From the looks of it, I'm sure someone could probably recreate this wiring harness for next to nothing, provided you get the correct end connector for it.

Chryco,
I should have asked you a couple of years ago :-[ Knowing the shifter light must work off the "dimmer" switch on the dash, I just ran a wire up to my gauge lights, and spliced it in. I'll admit, I had NO clue where the wire should have gone, but hey, I can always improvise ;)

I'll bid on this one, if someone else really REALLY needs it they can go. If not I'll go.
No point a few of us going for it making the price go up for who ever owns it. LMAO!!  ;D Just thought I'd ask..... :)
