Whatever you do, don't wax it as that will scratch the clear and you will wind up with the spider webs we see on a lot of cars. Looks great!

John
It may seem like too much money but I have did all the work myself except for the engine rebuild, transmission rebuild and the final paint. The parts and labor on the engine and transmission was $2,500 and the final paint job was $1,200 and I had already bought the base and reducer. This Challenger was from California and overall in very good shape. It came with lots of new and extra parts which I have sold some of them to fund this project. I have not went through my receipts but I have less than $14K in the Challenger and I'm real happy with the way it has turned out. My next progect will be a 70-71 Challenger only because I like them years better and I have seen lots of them on the market lately.  I do love them all and they keep me busy during the day as I work 2nd shift and have lots of free time.

I like the 72-74 E bodies the best. I was kidding around with my previous post. I recently restored a 74 Barracuda, took a long time and quite a bit of money. I did it because I like the later Barracudas. Your car will be awesome when it is done. Most important thing is you enjoy doing it as I do. The paint work is very nice on your car. John.

I got the car color sanded and buffed out using evercoats 4 product triple cut compund system . Worked good and the triple gloss works  better than any of the 3M products I have used over the years. Here are a couple of pictures.

It really depends on the light as the color looks different out in sunlight or shade and really changes under florecent light almost has a red tint in the garage.

Been a very warm January and today was no different so I decided to paint the rear tail light black out along with the tail light bezels and the grille. It was 65 degrees and the garage temp was 72. I used ppg concept acrylic urethane organosol as I like the finish it leaves not to dull and not to glossy. Here are some pictures of the car and parts.
